Welcome to Triple Nickel

The name Triple Nickel goes back to 1969, when my Grandpa moved our family home to this property with the help of his brothers. He was a maintenance manager at a larger factory in our hometown. When another outfit bought them out, he asked for a nickel raise. They refused — so he quit.

He went on to start a livestock hauling company that commissioned the first triple axel cow pot. In doing so, he always said he tripled that nickel. That spirit of hard work, independence, and Nebraska grit is what Triple Nickel is built on.

My wife and I bought the place about 10 years ago from my Grandma, and we finished raising our 2 kids here on this same land. Triple Nickel celebrates our Czech/Germanic and Norwegian/Germanic/Irish heritage roots — planted deep in Nebraska dirt.
